This third update of the Sustainable Recovery Tracker, initially published on 21 July 2021, was requested by the G20 Rome Leaders’ Declaration, and the Joint G20 Energy-Climate Ministerial Communiqué. The Tracker assesses national recovery plans against levels of 2021-2023 government spending specified in the IEA Special Report on Sustainable Recovery (2020) that are consistent with levels required to stay on track with a Net Zero Emission Trajectory by 2050.
